Georgetown's Rice Museum is over a former slave market.
 

Three stops are slated in the historic deep port city of Georgetown, which is 30 miles south of Myrtle Beach and was founded in 1729, making it the state's third-oldest city. All three stops are located on Front Street, which borders the Sampit River.

 

First stop: The Georgetown Rice Museum, which is in the clock tower building over what was formerly a slave market.

 

Second stop: Morsels Market, where you'll be served Lowcountry Eggrolls with Wasabi Mustard dipping sauce, and white wine.

 

Last stop: The River Room, where appetizer-size portions of their famous Shrimp and Grits will be served.

 

Time offered: 3:30-5:30 p.m. weekdays. One week's notice required.
